Dan Hickman
Dan Hickman, President, joined Trumba
in December 2005 as a senior software design engineer with extensive experience in web development and calendaring. Before
joining Trumba, Hickman developed and marketed WinDates personal calendar software and iCalDates.com online calendar service.
From 1997 to 1999, Hickman participated in IETF calendaring and scheduling working group, which created the iCalendar standard.
Hickman worked previously as a senior software development manager for Alliance Data Corporation in Houston, Texas.
Other software experience includes intranet solutions development for Camco/Schlumberger and research associate for the Texas Transportation Institute.
Hickman holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.
Peter Mullen
Peter Mullen, an original Trumba founder and
Trumba’s Chief Software Architect from 2003 until 2008, was responsible for the initial design and development of
Trumba’s technical architecture. Peter was a founding engineer of Visio Corporation and responsible for product architecture,
drag & drop technology, and OLE implementation. He managed Visio's core development team from 1994 through 2000.
From 1987 through 1990, he worked on PageMaker and Persuasion at Aldus Corporation.
Mullen holds a BA in physics from Middlebury College and an MS in geophysics from the University of Washington.
Jerry Rinaldi
Jerry Rinaldi, Vice President of Operations,
joined Trumba in September 2004 as Manager of QA and Web Operations and was elected to his current position in November
2007. During that time, Rinaldi established Trumba’s test and web operations teams, allowing the company to deploy new
software each week. Under Rinaldi’s leadership, the Trumba service has achieved high availability and performance over the past
several years. Prior to Trumba, Rinaldi spent six years with Microsoft, most of
that time in the role of Group Test Manager for Microsoft Project. In 1992 he co-founded QASE Incorporated, a innovative developer of
software quality assurance tools, and helped run the company to 1996. He started his career in software at Oracle Corporation
and served as Development Manager of Oracle’s InterOffice admin tools group.
Rinaldi holds a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science
from Oregon State University.
