When you see events that appear to be scheduled at the wrong time, a time zone setting might be incorrect or time zones might differ between calendars.
Here are some problems you might see and ways to fix them:
You may have changed your account time zone and forgotten to change the time zones for your existing calendars. Fix the time zone setting for each calendar on which events times are incorrect.
When you import events into an existing calendar, the events take the time zone of the existing calendar. If you want imported events to reflect a unique time zone, import them into a new calendar rather than an existing one.
To learn more about importing, see Import events.
When you mix events into a calendar, the event times reflect the owning calendar's time zone. You won't notice anything if the time zone of the mixed-in events matches the time zone of the calendar the events are mixed into. If the two calendars have different time zones, however, the times for the mixed-in events might seem wrong. To see events in their original time zone, display the calendar the events come from by clicking the calendar's name in the calendar list.
To learn more about mixing events into a calendar, see View and edit calendars.
You can temporarily change the time zone for the public calendar.
