Using Microsoft® Office Word, you (as an event editor or organizer) can create and print certificates of completion to provide for attendees after an event.
Important The menus and commands may differ in the version of Word you're currently using.
Before you can create and print certificates of completion for an event, you'll need to export the list of attendees for the event to a .csv file.
Note that all of the fields in the event template (that are associated with the event) are available in the output file. For more information, go to Export registration information for an individual event
You can use features in Word to print certificates of completion for an event, based on the attendees list.
Tip You can use other templates, but note that if you apply the same variable (see step 7) multiple times in a single document (e.g. multiple badges on a single page), the repeated variable is replaced with just one value per document, rather than cycling through the values from multiple rows.
If you see the Header Record Delimiters dialog, make no changes.
Click OK.
Click the Backspace key on your keyboard to remove the placeholder in the template (leaving the field blank).
The field in the template in Word is replaced with the label of the "variable" that you selected from the list, surrounded by double angle brackets.
Repeat steps 6 and 7 if you have other fields to replace in your template.
Certificates of completion are printed, as you've specified.
