Classic Week calendar view
What are calendar views?
Use when your goal is to
- Control which event fields display in the calendar.
For some fields, you can also control the order in which they appear and how they are labeled.
- Display event description with the event title.
Tip You can set a maximum character length for the Description field in the calendar. If the description gets truncated, the entire field is always available in event detail view.
- Present event information in a traditional calendar format.
Don't use when your goal is to
- Subgroup events by start time, time block, or location.
- Feature specific events using unique formatting.
- Hide ongoing events in the calendar view.
What are ongoing events and how should I handle them?
In Classic Week view, you can't hide ongoing and all-day events. On each day, these events are listed above events with regular start times.
For visitors, this can mean a lot of scrolling and make regular events more difficult to find.
If a lot of your events are ongoing and you don't publish ongoing events separately, Classic Week view may not be the best calendar view to use.
Description A week's worth of events is displayed per page organized by day.
