Add images using search
Just show me the steps for using search.
To quickly find an existing image and add it to an event or object, search for the image by all or part of its name.
Tips
- An existing image is an image that is already listed in the Images table.
- Image search works best when you give images meaningful display names at the time you upload or link to them. For example, suppose you upload an image with the file name melon.png.
By default, the image's display name is its file name. But, as the following Add Image window shows, you can replace the default display name with a more meaningful one.
Replace the default display name to make images easier to find and reuse.
To add an existing image to an event or object using search
- Open the Add Event or Add New [Object] Value form.
- To the right of the image field, click the magnifying glass.
Click the magnifying glass icon to search for an image by name.
- In the Find Image by Name field, type all or part of an image name.
As you type, you see a list of image matches, with the matching text highlighted in red.
Matching images appear dynamically as you type.
Tip Notice how much more informative the meaningful melon image display name is compared to the other file names.
- Select the image you want, and then click OK.
